Carrie Johnston

Carrie is a senior executive recruiter specialising in Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs and Community & Stakeholder Relations and is respected as one of the most credible and reputable recruiters in the market.

Prior to joining Salt & Shein in 2016, Carrie established her career working in-house as a senior recruiter for global corporate brands including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Capgemini Consulting, Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Carrie has a broad and extensive network and is widely known and recognised for her market insights, integrity, passion, commitment, and her approach. She is regarded as an honest, ethical and trustworthy advisor who values long term partnerships with her clients and candidates.

Carrie was born in the US, her Dad was a pilot for the US Navy and Boeing which meant she spent many years moving around the globe. In her final year of university, Carrie transferred to the University of Sydney on an exchange program and immediately fell in love with Sydney and the Australian lifestyle. After completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Political Science, Carrie relocated permanently to Sydney where her recruitment career commenced.

Outside of the office, Carrie is a lover of all things food and wine! A fun fact about Carrie is that she was a contestant in the second series of MasterChef Australia! Carrie is also a proud Mum to her two children, Sammy and Audrey, and her two toy poodles, Raffy and Rylee. In their free time, Carrie and her young family love making memories together whether playing sport, going to the movies, taking trips together or enjoying family dinner and movie nights at home.
