A prior career in investor relations and a former Director of HJB, Peter managed the Banking & Financial Services practice and was instrumental in developing the first dedicated Corporate Affairs, PR & Communications practice in Australia in the 90’s

In establishing Salt & Shein in 2004, its sole purpose was to continue to develop the extreme specialisation in the Corporate Affairs, PR & Communication and Marketing functions, to address the growing need to provide executive resources to critically manage the ever increasing reputational, regulatory and issues management challenges organisations were facing.

The company and our specialisation continue to evolve, for our clients’ benefit, as we address and provide critical thinking and offer in depth knowledge, insight and influence into attracting the very best talent capable of strategically advising and managing the reputational risk management challenges of an increasingly complex and regulated marketplace.

We continue to conduct some of the most sophisticated mapping, analytics and research into the function of corporate and public affairs ever undertaken. Our clients are able to access this collective insight and draw confidence from it, knowing that their hiring solution has been determined and supported by years of experience, relationships, interactions and close association

Peter’s career has developed in tandem with the careers of some of the now most senior communications and corporate affairs executives in Australia and enjoys the privilege of their trust, respect and friendship. Recently an independent report on the most senior members of the corporate affairs community confirmed that we had had involvement with and were responsible for more than 65% of the appointments identified within.
